TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.silversupermarket.co.uk (the "website") and your use of the website itself.
The trade name “Silver Supermarket” is registered in England No: 07699915. The company's registered office address is at 154 Mortimer Street, Herne Bay, Kent, CT6 5DU.
In these terms "we" refers to Silver Supermarket and "you" and "your" refers to any visitor to the website or any Silver Supermarket customer. Silver Supermarket can only supply goods that are ordered online via the website and we cannot accept orders by telephone or post.

Prices & currencies accepted

All prices are shown on the website in £ sterling (GBP). All payments which will include all taxes, delivery, shipping and handling fees are processed via Barclays and only cards accepted by Barclays can make payments. Silver Supermarket can only accept payment in £ sterling (GBP). All currencies will be converted to GBP (£ Sterling) and you will be liable for any exchange rate charges made by your card provider. All prices are as stated on the website but Silver Supermarket reserves the right at any time to revise the price of goods without notice.

Availability

All goods are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. Silver Supermarket will contact you to arrange this via email the next working day.

Payment Details & Security

All payments to Silver Supermarket are handled securely by Barclays. Barclays accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch, and Solo (and any other card agreed by them from time to time). Payment will be debited from your card or account before the dispatch of the goods you have purchased. Upon processing a transaction, Silver Supermarket will issue you with an electronic transaction receipt which will be sent to the email address you provide. Silver Supermarket does not hold your credit or debit card details as all card data is processed securely by Barclays.

Delivery

We will normally dispatch orders on the next working day but please allow 5-10 working days for delivery.

Lost or Damaged Goods

In the event that any goods are lost or damaged in transit please contact us immediately either via email to support@silversupermarket.co.uk. In the case of non-delivery please wait 7 working days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the goods and contact us within 7 days of receipt, where upon we will arrange for the damaged or faulty goods to be exchanged or we will provide a refund of the cost of the goods to the card the goods were purchased on. 

We cannot accept a claim for loss unless 15 working days or more have passed since the item was due to be delivered (10 working days for Special Delivery Guaranteed™ items).Claims for lost or damaged items must be made within 80 days of the date they were posted. Claims for delayed items need to besubmitted within 3 months of the date they were posted if the claim is being made by the sender, or within 1 month of receipt if the claim is being made by the recipient of the item (please note; fee refunds on Special Delivery Guaranteed™ must be claimed within 14 days of posting). 

Returns & Refunds

Silver Supermarket is committed to providing the best customer service available. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return the unused goods to us in their original condition within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us before sending a return. Unfortunately, we cannot make a refund for goods which have been damaged by you after receipt. All products come with a 3 month warranty which covers any damage that has occured through regular use.
We will issue a refund (which will not include the costs of delivery) on receipt of unused goods. Refunds will only be made to the credit or debit card on which the purchase was made. Please include the receipt and a note saying who you are and whether you want a refund or to exchange it for a different size or colour. Send this all to us at the address below in the original packaging to:

The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the goods using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
Your right to cancel: You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being processed by contacting our support team.

Complaints & Queries

Should you ever have cause to make a complaint, we will use all reasonable endeavours to respond within five working days.

Protecting your privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have expressly given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, and your email address. As we have already stated we do not collect or hold any credit /debit card information from you. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent and it is in your interests. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.
If you wish, you can check the information that we hold about you at any time by emailing us and asking for details. If you find any inaccuracies we will either delete the information or correct it as required.

Warranties

Silver Supermarket is unable to provide any warranties in relation to goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1994.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Silver Supermarket Liability

Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury Silver Supermarket liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. Silver Supermarket shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses even if Silver Supermarket has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.

Availability of website

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that this website does not have any problems and that the goods displayed are available. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any goods on the website are in stock or available.

Intellectual Property Rights

The rights in the designs and the content of this website are owned by Silver Supermarket. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or display any part of this site without permission.
All trademarks, product names and company names or logos featured on the website are the property of their owners.

Right to Alter Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions without notice from time to time.

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Scotland, England and Wales and by using the website you agree to submit to the exclusive of the courts of Scotland, England and Wales

Emails

We will send you an order confirmation and a dispatch notification and we may send a newsletter to the email address used when placing your order. You can unsubscirbe to the newsletter at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link on the email. We will never share or sell your email address or any other information with any other companies.
